A lot of team members (especially if they are developers) got used to IM communicators. Because MeetingRoom integrates with Jabber, it is possible to send and receive messages via Jabber client. In addition to this, plugins were developed to give extra-features to Jabber users.

The other advantage is that there is a large variety of Jabber clients on mobile devices, so you can stay online whenever you want.

With Meeting Room on board, it is feasible for you to use also web client. This can be more convenient if you are not using your own computer and want to take part in conversation as soon as possible. You can also change basic user settings, find files and look through history of chat.

Browser’s user interface gives the following opportunities:

• Switching between rooms.
• Chatting or finding files.
• Signing up/out to other rooms.

There is also roster that shows users in the room: if they are online/offline, paused or using web browser. There is also special icon for administrators. If you have Google Gears installed, you can upload files by dragging them onto chat panel.
