Administration
We all know the pain that of administering systems with many users. MeetingRoom provides a fast and convenient administration.
Rooms
Rooms are the core of MeetingRoom. They can divide contributors into separate groups, providing closed environment. Each room has a separate Jabber account. These accounts can be created similar like the user accounts, or you can create a room from existing Jabber account.
Users
The user administration is very intuitive. Users are displayed in a list that can be filtered for fast searching. New users without existing jabber accounts can be added just as comfortably as those who have them. The administrator can change each parameter, including user’s password, and assign appropriate role.
Others
It is obvious that administration is not only users and rooms, but also several other entities:
- Enabling/disabling public signup
- Configuring database connection, attachements directory etc.
- Setting maximum attachement size
- Showing license information
- Backup and restore
- Configuring connections to Jabber servers, email servers or proxies
- Sending fast message to all users
- Looking through server log
- Managing plugins
All options are gathered in one configuration panel.
